Eleanor Uí Fhiannachta, Geal Healing Therapies, Maynooth, Co. Kildare. Eleanor has been a reflexologist for 10 years treating all ages from newborns to those who have seen many years. Eleanor has worked in Community roles in different disability organisations throughout her other career and spent 7 years working as a Community and Volunteer officer for Arthritis Ireland, the National Organisation for Arthritis supporting the 1 million people in Ireland living with a form of arthritis.
The talk will outline what is arthritis, the main different types of arthritis (there are over 100 types), some information on the types of medication that clients could be on, a sequence or main points that can be beneficial for clients and information referrals to Arthritis Ireland for clients
