PROFILE:

Rita has been a reflexologist for nearly ten years. She qualified in 2010 with high standards in both ITEC and IRIL and has been working in the area since. Further studies in the fields of Fertility and Maternity reflexology have deepened and progressed her reputation as a therapist, while the addition of reflexology for Cancer care has broadened her knowledge of treatment and empathy for all the health situations an individual might present. She is caring, understanding and deeply committed to her clients.

PERSONAL STATEMENT:

I’ve been fascinated by  feet since I was a very young child. Some of my early memories include giving my mother my  version of a pedicure when I was as young as six or seven. Somehow I doubt that it was my mother’s best experience in life. When I eventually discovered Reflexology, I felt that I had finally found my place in the world. There was a long and sometimes very rocky road from the seven year old ‘therapist’ to the qualified Reflexologist.

I liked to sing and play my guitar (still do), starred in pantomime and shows, eventually taking part in musicals such as Hello Dolly and 42nd Street (local level – no national/ international fame here).  I love living and feel the importance and need in everyone’s life for experiential interaction, not just on the physical, but also the emotional and mental aspects. Through personal experience, I know that allowing someone to help you through seemingly bad situations can actually be the catalyst to turning everything you know on it’s head – creating a whole new situation that gives you control over YOUR life. The saying that ‘life is for living’ didn’t come from nowhere. Take a chance.
