My interest in holistic therapies rests in the emotional content the body holds onto and how we as practitioners can support and encourage those who come to us to take an inward journey to find\, release and come to a place of calm within\, through Reflexology. \n“The nervous system holds emotion by translating psychological stress into physical sensations—such as muscle tension\, rapid heart rate\, or digestive issues—stored in the body. This process involves the brain activating the sympathetic nervous system (“fight-or-flight”) in response to unresolved emotions like sadness\, trauma or fear. Tonight’s presentation will include a brief nervous system recap along with where in our bodies emotions can be held and techniques to support and release these emotions.”
